However, in high-humidity environments, during extended use, or when preparing a unit for storage, excess condensate may accumulate and require manual drainage. The ARC-DB drain bucket is designed to help collect water during these occasional draining situations. Simply place the bucket beneath the lower drain port of the air conditioner before removing the drain plug. Because drainage flow can vary depending on the amount of accumulated water, we recommend placing a towel beneath the drain area and monitoring the draining process to help prevent spills. Multiple draining cycles may be required if a large volume of water has accumulated.
