Tekton smooth jaw long nose pliers have smooth jaws that protect the workpiece. The faces of the jaws are smooth and flat to safely grasp soft metals and finished parts without marring sensitive surfaces. The slim jaws are 2.9 inches long, allowing you to reach deep into tight spaces. Machining the blades to a 65-degree angle allows them to be strong yet sharp, producing a smooth, clean cut with minimal effort. They are comprised of two opposing blades that meet in the center, resulting in an extremely reliable cutting method, especially for harder wires. The blades are hardened to 58 - 64 HRC. Slim single-layer vinyl grips offer a smooth, nonslip surface that is easy to clean.
