This gorgeous gem is 68.95 carats, master cut in an Asscher/Octagonal shape. It is IF flawless - even under 10X magnification there are no imperfections to be found. It measures 22.85 X 22.4 X 16.5 mm, and is completely natural - no heat, no irradiation, no treatment or enhancement of any kind.
Spodumene is the mineral that in its pink form is called Kunzite. Like Kunzite, it is sensitive to sunlight, which is why it is called the "evening" stone. It is an absolute dazzler that should be worn to the opera or a movie premier, an evening wedding or any formal nighttime event. During the day, it should be kept in a covered box (although if you're like me, you'll peek at it just to sigh at its loveliness!)
