The Dixon Type DC brass cam and groove fitting has one opening to terminate a hose or pipe that has a cam and groove fitting. It has a dust cap with a female cam coupler for keeping out contaminants (Type DC). The body is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability, and it has cam lock levers for locking the fitting's male groove adapter into female cam couplers. A nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N) seal provides a leak-tight fit that is rated for petroleum service, ethanol to E100, and biodiesel to B20.
