The swing check valve, also known as a one-way valve or non-return valve, allows fluid to flow in one direction only, preventing backflow. It is commonly used in heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, where coolant is pumped to high levels, making it crucial to ensure that the fluid only moves in the intended direction. The valve has an inlet and an outlet port, and fluid entering through the inlet pushes a disc to swing upwards, allowing the fluid to flow through. When the fluid stops or tries to flow backward, the disc is pushed back, preventing the flow. The valve is easy to maintain, as the bolts, hinge, and disc in the valve body can be removed for repair. The valve's design provides easy access for repair jobs, as the disc can move both horizontally and vertically to fully close, requiring only a small force to operate the valve. The valve's seat is installed at a 20° angle to provide extra strength in preventing backflow, ensuring a full and unobstructed fluid flow. To install the swing check valve, the pipes should be clean, aligned with the valve's ports, and all sections of the pipe should match to avoid rupture. Any unsupported piping sections should be temporarily fixed to prevent unwanted strain on the valve. The connection should be sealed with thread sealant and tested for tightness to ensure optimal performance. This swing check valve is made of stainless steel 316/ CF8M material that provides higher resistance against corrosion and rust. The maximum working pressure is up to 200 PSI, and there are two NPT threaded ends. In terms of working temperature, it has a range of -29°C to 150°C.
